Stop counting steps.
Start planning them.
Walking to the shops, grabbing a coffee, taking the dog out — FitWalk turns everyday journeys into meaningful walks. Choose a step goal and it builds the route: greener, quieter streets and parks, not industrial estates. Collect coins, find hidden gems, and make every walk count.
Why FitWalk
Every smartwatch counts your steps.
None of them tell you where to take them.
FitWalk does. Choose 2,000, 4,000, 6,000 or 8,000 steps and it builds the route. No more wandering. No more aimless laps of the block. Just press Route and go.
Generated for your goal
One tap plots a loop on real streets from where you stand, sized to hit your daily step goal — 2,000 steps or 12,000.
Parks and woods first
Walking should be enjoyable. FitWalk prioritises green spaces, quieter roads and scenic routes — nobody wants their daily walk to finish through an industrial estate.
Loops only
No walking up a street just to turn around. Every route is a genuine loop — out one way, home another.
Walk it live
Sat-nav view with 3D buildings tilts in as you set off. The route turns gold behind you — steps done, steps left, live.
Coins, gems & detours
Coins line your route; gems tempt you a few hundred steps off it — accept the detour and we route you back. Walk past goal? Double coins.
Streaks that stick
Finish a walk a day and the flame grows. Miss a day, it resets — the habit loop that makes a marathon a month feel easy.
Draw it, bend it, fix it
Pencil an area and we route a walk around it. Handles on every turn — drag one to bend the route, tap one to remove a bit the map got wrong.
Errands become exercise
Search any shop, café or post office nearby — FitWalk shows what it is, how far, and the steps it's worth. Pick one and the route there is topped up so the errand still hits your daily goal.

Out there
Walks you'll actually enjoy.
Tree-lined paths and green space first. The route is the reward.
See it
The real thing, on real streets.

Round the park — or straight through it?
Where a route skirts a park, FitWalk shows both: the path stays the default, and a faded line offers the cut across the grass. Tap it to take it — or just walk it, and the route follows you, Waze-style. It only ever offers real walkable green space, and never a line through a lake.
Walking, but make it a game.
Walking should feel rewarding. Collect coins along your route, venture slightly off course for hidden gems, and earn double for every step past your daily goal. Your balance is heading somewhere: real-world rewards from partner brands are on the way.
Don't ask, “Have I done 8,000 steps today?”
Ask, “Where could 8,000 steps take me?”
How it works
Three taps to a plan.
Let it find you
FitWalk centres on where you're standing — or search anywhere and plan from there.
Pick your size
Full goal or top-up — done 4,000 already? Ask for 4,000 more. Then generate, aim at a point, or draw an area.
Walk the gold line
Start walking and watch the route turn gold behind you. Finish, bank your coins, keep the streak.
Everyday journeys
Coffee run? That's steps home.
City blocks, errands, the commute's last mile — every trip counts toward today's goal.
For health bodies & workplaces
A marathon a month? Sorted.
Walking initiatives fail on one question: “okay — but where do I actually walk?” FitWalk answers it. Built to support programmes like NHS England's Movement 26.2, it turns “30 minutes a day” into a specific, pleasant, goal-sized loop from each person's own front door.
- Habit-first design — streaks, daily goals and rewards, the loop the initiative is built on
- Digitally logged walks — daily step tallies, monthly distance, synced per participant
- Privacy by design — local-first storage, aggregate cohort reporting only, no GPS surveillance
- Cohorts for surgeries, councils & employers — invite codes and outcome reports for link workers (coming autumn 2026)

Not just steps
A walking companion,
not a step counter.
Walk with intensity
Live steps-per-minute with a brisk-zone target turns a gentle stroll into a real workout. Cadence, pace and time, right there as you walk — the single best signal that you’re actually working, without ever pushing you to run.
On your wrist
A full Apple Watch app: your progress ring, cadence, pace and the route so far at a glance. Start a walk — or finish one — straight from the wrist, no phone needed.
Heart rate, live
With Apple Watch, watch your heart rate beat in real time as you walk — see the effort, not just the distance.
Your map, revealed
Fog of war: every street you walk clears the dark from the map. Come back tomorrow and watch your explored world grow, walk after walk.
Coins, gems & streaks
Collect coins along your route, find rare gems, and keep your daily streak alive. It’s walking — but it’s a little bit of a game, so you keep coming back.
Beat your friends
Invite friends and climb the leaderboard on steps, coins and gems — with weekly and monthly winners. A gentle nudge to lace up.
Never lose a walk
Your route saves as you go, so a dropped signal or a closed app can’t lose your journey — reopen and you’re right where you left off.
iPhone, Watch, Android & web
Take it anywhere — native apps for iOS and Android, plus the full app in any browser. Your walks sync across all of them.
On your wrist
Your walk, on Apple Watch.
Leave the phone in your pocket. FitWalk lives on your wrist — glance down for your progress and your route, and run the whole walk from there.
- Live glance — steps, cadence and pace at a tap
- Your route drawn on the watch as you walk
- Heart rate, beating in real time
- Start a walk — or finish one — from your wrist
