Privacy Policy

Last updated: 8 July 2026

FitWalk helps you plan and track walks. This policy explains what we collect, why, and the control you have. The short version: we don’t sell your data, and we never use your health data for advertising or marketing.

Who we are

FitWalk is operated by Oynk. For any privacy question or request, contact ash@oynk.co.uk. FitWalk works without an account; some features (syncing across devices, friends leaderboards) require one.

What we collect

How we use it

Health data: data read from Apple Health / Health Connect is used solely to provide FitWalk’s features. It is never used for advertising or marketing, and is never sold or shared with data brokers.

Who processes your data

We use a small number of service providers strictly to run the app:

We do not sell your data or share it with advertisers.

Storage & security

Data is encrypted in transit. Some data is also stored locally on your device so the app works offline; signing out or deleting your account clears it.

Your rights & deleting your data

You can permanently delete your account and all associated data at any time, in the app: open your Account panel and tap Delete account. This immediately removes your account and every record tied to it — walks, streak, coins, gems, leaderboard entries and avatar. It cannot be undone.

You may also email ash@oynk.co.uk to request access to, correction of, or deletion of your data. Under UK/EU GDPR you have the right to access, rectify, erase, and port your data, and to object to or restrict processing.

Children

FitWalk is not directed at children under 13, and we don’t knowingly collect their data.

Changes

We may update this policy; material changes will be reflected here with a new date. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised policy.
